About the Role
HRLab is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading food delivery platform. Our client is revolutionizing the industry by connecting kitchens with local businesses to provide innovative food services. As part of their ambitious growth plan, they are seeking an exceptional Senior Backend Developer to join their dynamic team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining the client's Web and Mobile applications, focusing on mission-critical APIs and cloud infrastructure. Your technical expertise, insatiable curiosity, and analytical mindset will be key assets as you work collaboratively with the Product team to execute on the product roadmap and participate in weekly sprints, code reviews, and testing.
Responsibilities:
-Collaborate closely with the Product team to execute the product roadmap, contributing to the design and development of robust APIs and endpoints to support both mobile and desktop clients.
-Develop and maintain code for the Client's dashboards and web applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
-Optimize cloud infrastructure to enhance scalability and performance.
-Troubleshoot and debug backend-related issues to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements
Possess a strong foundation in computer science, algorithms, and web development. A degree in engineering or computer science would be highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in writing GraphQL and REST APIs and utilizing them effectively.
Proficiency in backend development technologies, particularly Python, Django, Graphene, Celery, PostgreSQL, Redis, or Docker (or equivalent).
Familiarity with cloud providers such as GCP and expertise in using cloud services like Kubernetes, Cloud SQL, GitHub, GitHub Actions (or equivalent).
Proven track record of consistently over-delivering in high-velocity environments.
A history of being a self-starter, taking calculated risks, learning from experiences, and driving innovation.
